装运通知

又称declaration of shipment或notice of shipment，系出口商向进口商发出货物已于某月某日或将于某月某日装运某船的通知。

装运通知的作用在于方便买方购买保险或准备提货手续，其内容通常包括货名、装运数量、船名、装船日期、契约或信用证号码等。

这项通知，大多以电报方式为之，然也有用航邮方式的。

装运通知的作用在于方便买方投立保险、准备提货手续或转售；出口商作此项通知时，有时尚附上或另行寄上货运单据副本，以便进口商明了装货内容。若碰到货运单据正本迟到的情况，仍可及时办理担保提货(delivery against letter of guarantee)。
